31

Last weekend we got together with my family for my birthday.

My sister brought me these beautiful flowers

And Dave got me the best tasting cake ever (Safeway white cake with white frosting). My favorite!

Of course, we spent more time looking, holding, and taking pictures of Bryce than anything else.

All the girls,

my wonderful Dad,
and my cute family.

Love this

Addie helped me blow out the candle

Then came gifts. They made me close my eyes and when I opened them, Mikey was holding a pencil!?!? I didn't get it.

Really confused

Then I had to close my eyes again and opened them up to Mikey holding a hand sander. I was much more excited for this!

I was so happy with the sander (I have been asking for one), that I was shocked when they got me an air compressor too! I have REALLY been wanting one (which may sound really silly to anyone who knows me, but I have been hanging crown moulding in our home and also have some furniture to refinish, so this will come in so handy). Mikey was great enough to teach me how to do the moulding and let me borrow his compressor, that he got me all the stuff that I would need for myself.

Thanks to all my family for making this another great birthday.

Easter

Sorry I'm so behind on my updates.

This Easter was really fun with the kids. When they got up in the morning, they came downstairs to find their baskets waiting for them.

Ethan especially liked his bubble maker

After baskets, we told them that the Easter bunny hide eggs around the house.

Addie found 1, and then dug in to eat the candy out of it. She could have cared less that there were more to find, she just wants the sweets.

Ethan also loved his dinosaurs (and chocolate).

Trying all her goodies from her basket

After naps, I put them in their Easter outfits before heading over to Mom's for dinner.

Addie got a new pink dress,

and Ethan got the cutest seersucker suit.

Why? I have no idea.

All the kidlets together

After dinner was the annual adult/money/egg hunt with the fam. I did the hiding of the eggs this year so that my Dad could get to play and try to find some of his money back. We had about 60 eggs filled with mostly money and a little candy. The rules are that nothing is off limits. The eggs can be hidden anywhere and if you drop your egg, it is fair game. It is always a crazy, brutal, push anyone who gets in your way, kind of hunt.

Everyone ready to go.

And they're off

Please just note my Dad here. He grabbed his work bag so that he wouldn't drop any eggs. And Dave is using Ethan's basket. I think that's cheating!

My cute bag lady

This is how she wakes up every morning! I have no idea how in the hell she can possibly get it that big. The best part is that she LOVES her hair like this and doesn't want me to touch (or let alone brush) it!

Sunriver

Most of you already know, but I still wanted to post some pics of the house in Sunriver. We are really excited about it and can't wait to spend lots of time there with the kids and all of you. And if any of you want to rent it for a weekend getaway, just let me know.
