Easter 2009

A few pics of the kiddos Easter baskets and outfits.

I'll never get enough of Ethan in a sweater vest.  I love it.
All my babes

Finally!

I have finally finished both kids rooms.  As some of you remember, I originally had the twins in Ethan's room.  Well, after a year of struggling to get them on the same sleep pattern (never happened), we decided to get ride of our guest room and give them each their own room.  Ethan's room is still in the unisex colors that I originally went with, but for now it works.  I figure when he gets a little older and wants a big boy room, I can do it up big with lots of "boy" colors and theme.  Addie's room is pretty simple too.  Just tried to coordinate with her bedding for now.  They really seem to like having their own space, even though they follow each other from one room to the other all day long.  It has been lots better on Dave and I too.

Ethan's room (Even though they don't share, I kept the sayings up on the wall cause I love them so much)

The Big 3-0

Saturday night some friends got together at Oba for dinner to help me celebrate my 30th birthday.  The dinner was amazing (as usual), but I enjoyed the company even more.
All the girls.  Eryn, Tiff, Heath, Rebecca, and myself
The whole group

Dave is always up for some love from Rebecca and Heather
Eryn REALLY enjoyed the dessert.

Rebecca and Karty
Trey and Eryn
Tiffany, Michael, and Heather
Eryn had to call home to check on the babies.  We keep telling her she needs to buy a new phone.  They make them smaller now Eryn!

Dave and the kiddos had decorated the house for me.  It was so fun to come home and see all this.

Dave even ordered me a bday cake
The next day (my actual birthday, and Easter) we had the fam over for dinner and our annual easter egg hunt.  We hide money in plastic eggs and all the adults run (or should I say tear) through the house looking for them.  This year we had 49 eggs hidden with probably $60 in ones and fives.  It's hilarious.
Dave and the kids made me wear this party hat while opening gifts.

It was a fun weekend.  Thanks to all who helped me celebrate this big birthday!  I'm very excited about my 30's as long as I am still surrounded by all these people that I love.

Playing catch up

Here are a few pics of the goings on around the house.
Our new neighbor, Kellen Grey Washington.  He is adorable and very loved by all, including big brother Cade.

Play day at the Firstenburg Center with Aunt Mandy and Garret.

He is getting so big!
Addie carries this book around with her ALL day.

Her favorite seat in the house.  Every time I open the fridge, she runs over and sits down.
