Even though the weather has been awful outside, I have had some fun decorating the inside for spring/easter. Here is our "spring mantel".

Super Mario
Having fun with mustaches...
Ethan loved it! He looks like a cross between a cowboy and super Mario with a space man suit on.
Addie didn't love it as much

All in 1 Day
Here is a preview of what this child goes through in 1 day. Yes, I said ONE DAY!
If this continues when she is a teenager, I'm going to go out of my mind.
Sunriver with the Neighbs
Trey and Eryn's family joined us in Sunriver a few weekends ago for some fun in the snow. We had a blast. There was lots of sledding, hot tubing, eating, watching movies, playing games, and relaxing (well, as much as you can with 4 kids under the age of 4).
Our cute little snow bunny.
This guy LOVED running around in the snow. He even found another dead/frozen bird to eat...yuck!
Love this face!
Love this face too! Kellen makes you work really hard for a smile.
We found our own little hill to pack and sled down. It was the perfect length for all the kiddlets. I have to say that I think the adults had as good of a time sledding, if not more, than the kids.
Look at all those happy faces.

A few new peices
Here are a few new ones that I have finished up.
This one was from Goodwill and looks amazing in person. It has this beautiful scroll detail around the doors that I stained the same color as the top. I put it in my family room for now and am going to have a hard time parting with it once it sells.
This one is from the garage of my friend, Kim. It was a piece that her husband owned before they were married and she hated it. It didn't even have the doors on it when I got it. Mark had to fish them out of the "wood pile." Once I finished it I had him come over to take a look and he didn't even recognize it. Now it is off to a new home where it will be a TV stand or buffet piece. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
Now to finish the rest of the stuff that has been collecting dust in my garage!

Total Slacker
I realize how sucky I have been lately at keeping this up. I am hoping to be much better in the coming months. I also have some very exciting news about another "project" I am starting soon too. More details later.
So, in order to catch up on the last few months of activities around here, I am just doing one big post. Sorry, but that is just how is goes around here these days.
We haven't gotten a lot of snow this year, so when we did, we played outside as much as possible. |
Thanksgiving was here. |
Here is our growing boy. |
My only "action shot" of Thanksgiving dinner. |
Trip to Sunriver for Christmas |
Getting bigger |
Ice skating in Sunriver |
Cheesy, right?! |
They had the MOST AMAZING Santa in Sunriver. The kids (and I) loved him. He spent 10 min with the kids just talking and hugging them. It was priceless. |
We made a gingerbread house |
More pics of Koda. |
We took a sleigh ride on Christmas Eve with Dave's parents. It was like being in a storybook. Sunriver is the best place to be at Christmas time. |
Getting new Christmas p.j.s. |
Addie got a new dollhouse (and some jewelry, as you can see). |
The dog getting even bigger |
Back to Sunriver in January |
Took a trip to the High Desert Museum |
Tried ice skating again |
And brought some friends with us |
These two were inseparable the whole time. |
Other than that we have been busy with work, preschool, swim lessons, house projects, trying to train our crazy dog, and trying to fit a date night in every once in awhile.
