Smartypants

I'm trying to teach the kiddos to say their "please" and "thank-yous".  Sometimes the only way that I can get them to do it is to bribe them with something that they want, like in this case, ice cream.  She is too cute when she signs and says "pease, pease."

Dave

I do love this man, so much.

He is a good husband and a great father.  He makes me laugh when I need it, helpful when I need him to be, and most importantly is just an all around good guy.  I don't say it enough, but he truly is the love of my life and I am grateful for him everyday (well, most days).  Just kidding honey!  I love you.
As I write this Dave took the "where should you live quiz" on facebook and his quiz came back with the answer that he should live in the country.  This is funny because just two minutes ago I took the quiz and it came back as I should live in New York City.  Can't get more different than that!

We aren't always a perfect match for each other, and we definitely have our differences, but we laugh through it all.  And for us, that's all we need.

Hint, hint

This was my subtle attempt at asking Dave to send me flowers.  Every time I do get flowers from Dave, he complains to me later that they cost way too much.  I keep telling him that even though the gesture was nice, it ruins it when he complains about it later.  So, I thought that cutting out some coupons for some pretty cheap bouquets along with a nice note taped to our kitchen cabinets would do the trick, but needless to say that didn't work either.

He did find it pretty funny though.

I'm still waiting...

I don't know how this got started, but a while back we taught Ethan to do "earmuffs."  It is so cute to see and he really is proud of himself when he does it.  We joke that we taught it to him cause I swear so much, but I don't.  I really don't...o.k. maybe a little.  Don't judge me!

My Little Peanut

Addison, who I call my little peanut, cause at 16 months old, she still only weighs about 18 lbs.  She has got to be the cutest, happiest, and affectionate little girl out there.  She is constantly walking over to me with her mouth wide open to give kisses.   She is also my little diva, cause much like her mother, she loves to dress up, and she can also throw a fit and scream like nobody's business.

She loves anything sweet!  In this pic, she was getting hot chocolate.

Here, she came walking out to me in the kitchen with toilet paper stuck to her foot.  Dave and I had a good laugh.

This was after a nap...and yes, that is a booger in her hair!

Her favorite thing in the whole world is her binky (I like to think I am her second favorite).
She hates the snow.

I know, I know...

I've been really bad about posting on here.  I seem to go through phases where I'll be really on top of it, and others where I'm terrible at it.  To be honest, I have been obsessed with facebook lately.  Horrible, I know.  But here I am putting up some new pics of my cute family.  We had Shawn come out in January and take some family pictures at home.  It was so nice to have some taken here, in our p.j.s, just being us.  Even though it is really hard to get the kids to look at the camera and get a picture of them both looking cute, I think some turned out really well.

If any of you want copies of any, just let me know and I can get you a print.

Christmas Day

I uploaded these backwards, but you'll get the idea.  Christmas Day we spent the morning opening gifts with the kids, and then my family and our neighbors came over for dinner that night.

Our tradition for Christmas dinner is fondue.  It is so good!
